I shared a glance with Atlas and Rowan, and the tension eased just a fraction.

“What happened?” another minion demanded, snapping back to the situation. “Who killed him?”

“I don’t know, but the child, the bitch and Griffin are gone. They killed Cameron with his gun, and there’s blood everywhere. We need to find them three right away.” He shouted.

I had been watching out of the window waiting for word on my father returning. He was angry that Griffin had caused so many problems and wanting to keep the peace with Mystic had gone out to search for the child. I swallowed hard and glanced at the clock ticking on the wall.
