Chapter 13

Sofia's POV

“Did you see where I shot? There is one man there. Go get him now,” I ordered, but Sterling’s men didn’t move. I turned around to see them picking up their rifles as I took one for myself.

“Don’t stand there looking at me. GO!” I spoke in a sharper tone than usual, and they started moving backward. I started scoping the area again and found another target.

All of Sterling’s men wore black suits while these idiots who came in wore leather jackets.

I shot again.

Sterling was pacing around the balcony and shouting orders over the phone.

“What did you do? We need them alive,” he scowled at me while I turned to face him.

“Don’t worry, they’re not dead.”

“How many?” he asked.

“Five.”

I aimed the gun at Sterling and took a shot that went right beside his ear. He stared at me as if I was insane until he heard something thud behind him. He seemed confused. He turned around and looked bewildered.
