Sterling’s POV

Her eyes were filled with tears, which made my chest hurt. I’ve never felt the urge to console a lady. Tears were too much for me. However, I was struck differently when I saw her in this state. I wanted to take her pain away.

I have been able to see her internal struggle since she woke up from her coma. I am aware that she is a strong woman who makes it difficult for others to see her other weaknesses.
