Chapter 11. Bipolar
Avery’s POV
“Kitten, get in.” He orders without facing me, and I quickly step inside as a guard opens the door. The interior of the limousine awes me, but I collect myself, remembering what Ethan had said about my makeup in the elevator. I open the silver-colored clutch that was given to me by the stylist, and I am thankful for the thoughtfulness of the person who placed some wipes, foundation, and eyeliner in the clutch.
Using the mirror in the limousine, I quickly fix my makeup by adding a little layer of foundation to my face. My brows furrow as I notice small red dots on my hands when I raise them to do my makeup. It’s probably a skin reaction.
The limousine door opens, and I look up to see Ethan settling into the space beside me. His presence makes me feel self-conscious, and I unknowingly shift to the far end of the seat. He doesn’t say anything to me but picks up his phone, and I later understand he is on a business call with a foreign business partne
