Chapter 19. Itch
Third-Person POV
The woman and a maid stood in the garden, hidden from sight by the tall flower trees.
“I never expected my plan to fail!” She thought aloud, making the maid sneer secretly at the woman’s stupidity. How was she expecting such a lousy plan to work?
The woman sighed. “How much did you add to her wine?”
“Half a teaspoon, just as you instructed, ma.”
“What about him?”
“He is still unconscious. I added two spoons… just as you instructed, ma.”
The woman groaned. “Go find a young, fresh maid and add the dr*g to their food before sending her to his room. He should soon be up.”
A look of horror appeared on the maid’s face, making the woman’s eyes flash with anger. “What is it? Would you rather offer yourself to him?”
