Avery’s POV

Ethan is right. Tomorrow’s shopping is in the VIP section of Kings Mall, and I can’t afford anything with my card since everything there is expensive. I accepted the card. “Thank you, honey.”

“No need to mention it; I am here for you.”

I gave a small laugh. “That sounds strange.” Except for my father and my friend Jake, no one else has ever said that to me.

His expression turned serious. “I am serious, kitten. If you want to buy the whole mall, you can. You are not just anybody, you are my woman.” He declared, moving even closer and closing in to kiss me.
