Paige’s POV

Hours after I entered the truck of the car, I heard Alpha Luka’s voice. I took a deep breath and was so close to tears because finally, I was going home. There was no way I could open the trunk from inside so I waited for someone to do the job. It wasn’t hot because of some space inside it. That made it easier for me to breathe. I knew someone would soon pick up my scent and open the trunk, so why kick?

The vehicle suddenly started moving, I peeked out through one of the holes and I saw several feet moving into some other trucks there so I was glad. We were going home, finally, I would see my parents.

Thanks to my petite stature, I fitted just right in the trunk. I didn’t have to worry about my head or my legs. I sat still.
