Paige’s POV

"Her name is Glyds, she’s sick,"

Alex frowned, the space between her eyebrows creasing together as she took in my words. They would be the first set of people who knew about this after my parents. Not even Crystina knew about that fact. Because of the state of my wolf, I never thought I could find a mate. I thought it would be useless to have hope that I would have one so the thoughts never crossed my mind.

"Since when?"

I shrugged. Does it matter? All that mattered was the fact that Glyds was sick and nothing could heal her. My parents had tried everything they could but nothing worked. It was too late for her and I had to live that way.
