Gabriel’s POV

"Have you given my request a thought, Alpha Luka?" I inquired.

It was evening and we were walking into my training grounds. I’d met up with Luka at the hospital and he asked if we could take a walk together to the training ground so he could say goodbye to some of my warriors that he’d been training with. I couldn’t say no to his request.

I heard about Luka when I was fighting to get out of my messed up life. I heard about a boy who took over his father’s pack at such a young age, saddled its responsibility on his tiny shoulder, and still didn’t break. I imagined how life would’ve been horrible to him despite being an orphan nursing the pain of losing both parents, not having a sibling to talk to, and still being responsible for his pack and I just couldn’t help being amazed by his strength, his commitment, and his efforts.

He took his pack from an ordinary park in the south to the largest one out there, it’s not an easy effort
