Chapter 37

Luka’s POV

Breakfast was rushed. I’d set a meeting with the elders this morning and I had woken up late. In addition to that, I prepared late, and now, I have just five minutes to have that meeting with them.

A day after we came back from Gabriel’s pack, Crystina and I visited her people. Some of them recognized her while others didn’t. Those who recognized her were really happy to see her. They told her it’s been a while since they’d seen her but they were glad she was Hale and hearty. They all knew she was my Luna and one of the older women saw it as fate.

I don’t know exactly why I brought her people back to my pack but one thing I remembered was the promise I made when I saw their faces. I saw people who had lost hope, people who were scared and yet at the same time angry about how things had turned out, I saw people who needed help, a new home and a new beginning and I offered them one.
