Paige’s POV

It’s been three days since I met Gabriel’s brother and learned a little bit about their family. After we shared a kiss, we separated. I slept on the bed while he walked into the bathroom to have a shower. By the time he came out, he settled on the couch. I wanted to ask him to come to bed but I stopped myself. I closed my eyes to sleep thinking I would see the handsome man of my dreams but when I woke up, I felt empty. It was an empty dream, filled with nothing that I wanted or needed.

I looked to the couch and realized Gabriel was gone. Not even a trace of him was left in the room. For the past three days, that has been the routine. My room was finally ready and I would be moving into the room today, Azel told me he would help me with it and I look forward to spending time with him.
