Gabriel’s POV

"Good morning, commander," Simon, also known as large feet, stood straight, his hands behind his back and his face forward as I walked into the changing room that was available for them. I hadn’t the intention of confronting him, I’d been looking for Azel around the pack to give him an assignment. When I walked into the training ground, I was told Azel was last seen in the changing room, so I came here.

"Large Feet…" I stopped myself from saying whatever it was that came to my head because, at the same time, I remembered the promise I made to someone.

I’d promised Paige that I wouldn’t punish anyone for what happened and I would love to hold on to that. That way, she can trust me wholeheartedly. If I start betraying her at this early stage of our relationship, it’ll definitely damage the days coming. I might not have wanted Paige at first but now, I don’t think I can breathe without her.
