Crystina’s POV

Even though I knew what would happen if I returned to the house with Luka, I still did. I would prefer anything other than staying in that hall with 97 percent of people that I didn’t know anything about. As we walked out of the hall hand in hand, I could feel some hard glares being directed at me, but I didn’t look back because I couldn’t bother with bitter people. I have more things to worry about than that.

“My room or yours?” He asked as soon as we walked in. Miss Mary and Rolf were already back in the apartment by the time we returned.

I was nervous and scared, but at the same time, I didn’t want my fear to be known. “Yours,” I replied.

He held my hand again, and we walked into his room together. I sat on his bed as I stared at my fidgeting hands. I clamped them together, trying to calm myself down. It’s not a big deal, all mates do this thing. They mate and mark each other, it's normal.
