Chapter 13
“We kept parrying for several minutes, him attacking and me defending, but the tide soon turned swiftly. Minutes later, my teacher was profusely sweating while I was beating the heck out of him in anger. I put every single ounce of hatred I had for my father’s cruel ways in every single strike I lashed out. It turned from a friendly duel to an all-out fight very quickly, I think much quicker than my teacher expected. This match lasted for two hours. Then just as my father entered the house, my teacher called off the match.
“You fight well. Though not that effective in channeling your emotions. In combat, if you can channel your anger this way, you could actually come out victorious. Now come,” he sat down on the grass. “Have a seat.”
I sat down, puffing air from my lungs. I was exhausted, having vented my anger out. I felt good.
“Your parents called me yesterday, telling me of the unusual behavior you have started exhibiting. What is it, if I may ask?”
