Chapter 18

I kept bidding my time till the Christmas celebration, gaining experience and energy. I knew the staff would be reduced during that season as a result of the holidays. Kelvin always told me how colorful outside was as a result of the celebration, and I saw how he was working hard to get me out of there, but there was a secret he was hiding. I kept trying to unlock, but it was so sealed, and he seemed to know when I tried to probe into his mind.

I kept counting my days. I had asked Kelvin never to visit me until after the celebrations were over. Though it hurt him, I had to do that. On the 25th day of December, I was struck with my escape plan.
