Chapter 126. Tarvaks
I and Moriah remained staring into the distance, forgetting, for a moment, the reason we had come here in the first place.
“I see you’ve met Arkos and Ursa,” A bold male voice sounded behind me and Moriah. We both turned around quickly, and our eyes locked onto a tall man standing behind us with a welcoming smile on his face. Strands from his black, silky locks danced in the wind, his night-blue eyes sparkling beneath the moonlight. He wore a brown leather jacket, gray trousers made from denim, and brown leather boots.
We could see Damian, Festus, and Callaius packing up our belongings and moving them toward a large cave where numerous uniformed people stood, surrounded by crates containing food items ranging from bags of grains to fresh fruits and tuber foods.
“I’m sorry,” My eyes trailed back to the man who stood before us. “Did you say ‘Arkos and Ursa’?”
“Yes, those are the names of the two great beasts that guard the back ends and all of the eastern city.
