Chapter 133. Margret the Witch
“So, why did you join the Valtorian military?” Isaiah asked with a smile as he raised a mug of beer to his lips, chewing on a piece of bread.
Isaiah and Caspian had managed to sneak back into the eastern Andreia city by lying to the gate keepers that they survived the battle, but were too weak and injured to return, going as far as showing the guards the injuries they sustained and telling them how they had to ambush and kill medics from Valtorian military to be able to treat themselves.
They both sat at a rectangular table in a fairly large room lit up with candle sticks hanging from the walls. A wooden shelf holding a few loafs of bread and some vegetables stood to the right end of the table, and three mats, padded with hay and cotton covered with linen, were to the left, a young boy laying on one of them. The boy had dark brown hair and wore baggy clothes weaved from wool.
