Chapter 29. The Heptagon

The Heptagon Council of Sunworld was a small council of kings who ruled the seven greatest kingdoms on the solar side. This council consisted of human rulers as well as supernaturals. Although King Japhet had the largest kingdom and the most military power among the seven rulers, the highest position in the council, the Archon, belonged to an elf king named Lord Aethon because he was seen as the wisest and kindest person in all of Sun-world.

“King Japhet, please proceed by telling us the purpose of this gathering.” His voice was bold and authoritative. The man with silky silver hair and elf ears sat with his fingers locked and rested upon his podium. His eyes were fixed on King Japhet, and it seemed his position in the Heptagon was the highest.

King Japhet got up from where he sat and then cleared his throat. The golden ring around his head glistened under the chandelier light, and so did his gold-plated tooth as he smiled at his anticipating audience.
