“Whoa, that… is enormous,” I said, staring at the sky scraping gates that separated the two worlds through the carriage window. The golden gates shimmered brightly under the sunlight, and the shape of the sun was beautifully carved into the center of each of the three pieces of the gate. The gate’s magnificence left me breathless, as if I had stumbled into the afterlife.
“Welcome, Selwyn, to the great wall. The wall is invisible, but it’s there. Only authorized knights and royalty can pass through the gates, and once we do, every general in every kingdom on the Lunar side will be informed by the gatekeeper that someone has crossed over,” Moriah explained.
