Chapter 24. Jealous or Not

As if connected by nature, suddenly Keira’s cell phone rang—a call from Ben. She took a deep breath. Couldn’t she have her own time?

“Yes?” she said curtly.

“You have to come with me. We have to meet the wedding organizer,” he said flatly.

“What for? My opinion doesn’t matter anyway. You sort it all out; I don’t care what decorations the guys will put,” she said nonchalantly.

“Okay, I’ll tell them we’re off using the Harry Potter theme.”

“Wait! What? Harry Potter? You’re not kidding, are you?” Keira became very excited.

“Tell me, when did I ever joke? Get out, I’m in the lobby.”

“How did you know I was here?!” Keira was completely taken aback.

“You forgot who I am? I’m Benjamin Mackey!” he said proudly.

Keira rolled her eyes, “Okay, I’ll be out now,” she said, then quickly pressed the red button.

“Okay, Mia, since your dog isn’t really dead, I’ll be leaving now! See you later!” She hurriedly packed her bag and left the rest
