Chapter 10
Deiseree’s POV
I yawned several times while cooking because I couldn’t sleep all night, worrying about my stalker. I called my brothers after they showered and dressed once I finished getting everything ready. I tried to knock on Cameron’s room, but he didn’t appear to have returned home last night.
“Eree, didn’t you sleep well last night? You look like a panda. Your eyes are puffy too,” Luke asked in the middle of our meal.
I smiled sparingly. “Don’t worry about me, Luke. Eat or we’ll be late,” I advised.
“We have a homeroom meeting later at school. Can you come?” my youngest brother, Chris, asked with a smile. “Luke can’t come because we both have classes,” he added.
I nodded. “Sure. I will come. What time is it?” I asked. He thought for a moment, as if he was trying to remember what time his teacher said the meeting would be.
“It’s four o’clock. That’s what my teacher said,” Chris said with a smile.
