Deiseree’s POV

I frowned. “Save me? I almost had a heart attack because you forced me into this vehicle.”

“Calm down. I was just here to help you. I wouldn’t hurt you, I promised,” he said again.

“You’re not going to hurt me? Am I supposed to believe that? You kidnapped me, stupid!” I was so annoyed with him that my fear was overcome with annoyance.

The edge of his lips curved. “You really amazed me. One moment you were scared and now you looked like you were about to kill me with those eyes. I loved how much of a fighter you were.” He chuckled.

“Sam, stop teasing her,” the driver scolded him.

The guy sighed and leaned on the chair. “You were like Wonder Woman when you saved me from Mara but now, you don’t even remember my face.” He even pouted his lips.
