Zoe’s POV

“What about my sixth mate?” I asked.

Grandpa heaved a sigh and said, “Zoe, you just have to trust me this last time.”

“What is it Grandpa? You are scaring me,” I gulped nervously as I saw him frown and get red all over his face.

“Don’t worry, child! There is nothing to be scared of. I want to tell you about your Grandma first,” he said as he calmed back himself.

“What about her, Grandpa?” I asked.

“After our forced rejection, your Grandma found another mate. As you know, it was Victor. Victor has had five mates till now, three vampire powers and six wolves just like you,” he started listing our similarities when realization dawned on me.
