Talon’s POV

“Remind me why am I friends with you all again,” I groaned for the umpteenth time as my fucker friends harassed me to wake up.

“Because no one wants to hang out with a sleeping beauty like you,” my future Beta and best friend, Caius teased.

“Get up dude, we have to get out of here. ASAP. We need to prepare for your birthday bash,” Riven said, as he shook me violently.

“Guys, it’s just 7 am. Let me sleep,” I groaned as I covered my ears with the covers.

Everything went quiet after that, much to my relief but that was just the calm before the storm. After a few minutes I found myself choking and sputtering on chilli powder as the fan flared up the spicy powder all over my face. It seemed that I was not the only one affected.
