“Those fleas are here too,” Beck said. He gripped the steering wheel tighter.
Hayden sat up and looked through the windscreen of the black SUV. “Jesus Christ,” he muttered in deep disgust as he sighted the horde of reporters waiting in the hospital parking lot. “It was just a twenty minute ride from the station. How are they here already?”
“Maybe they split themselves into teams,” Beck suggested, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. “They are like fucking vultures.”
