Chapter 29. Gossips and Punishments

Owen’s POV

"Go on, Mr. Hunter. What caused the fight?" the principal inquired. Nolan sat quietly without responding. I knew he wouldn’t respond.

"Mr. Dawson? You tell me what happened," she said, turning her gaze towards me. I could see Nolan holding onto the armrest of his chair tightly from the corner of my eyes. I stared back at her blankly.

"You both can’t say it?" she asked. Again total silence.

"Okay then. If you can’t say it, you should be able to write it down right?" she continued bringing out a pen and paper from her desk. She placed a paper and pen each in front of us. None of us made a move to touch it.

"You must be hesitating because I’m here. I will give you both some privacy," she said as she stood up. "And for goodness sake no more fighting. I want my office the same way I left it when I get back," she added as she walked out and closed the door behind her.
