Chapter 62. A Lesson That Needed to Be Learned

Audrey’s POV

Today was the day we all left this village back to our own pack. I felt relieved because apart from the fact that the village was horrible, my entire experience was worse. Never in my life have I felt so ignored and uncared for. The purpose of this trip was to get close to Owen and Nolan no matter what. But, what did I get out of it? Nothing. I had nothing to show for it.

They blatantly ignored me like I didn’t even exist because of that bitch. I took a deep breath gently folding my clothes into my suitcase.

"Audrey? Our flight is in the afternoon. Why are you packing now?" Nicole asked as she walked into the room.

"Your flight is not until afternoon. My flight is in the next hour," I replied.

"What? Why did you book yours so early? Is that even allowed?" she asked in surprise.

"You seem to have forgotten who I am. I can decide to leave anytime I want. No one can change that," I retorted.
