Chapter 80
We had gotten to her place. It was a tense, long journey. Though it hadn’t been literally long, the tension that followed us overhead hung like an impending doom, waiting for the slightest opportunity to drop.
Her abode was a nice, comfortable house. It was like a cottage too, but hers was bigger, and I noticed her porch was a wraparound when we were entering. The colors were stronger, unlike the soft, relaxing mix of colors in Mama Lia’s own. Another personality difference. The colors were brilliant and eye-catching.
But they both shared an equal love for knitting; I observed the table cover knitted in burnt orange and moss green yarns.
"You both are so alike yet so different. Both similarities and differences are striking."
I commented in slight awe, appreciating the neatness and aesthetic appearance of the home. Mama Lia was neat enough to keep a home running, but Mama Mia’s level of conscientiousness was way above her twin sister’s. I stood in the middle
