Chapter 10. Hotel Room

“The bill!” cried Richard, waving at the waiter.

Richard immediately paid with a credit card, and after everything was done, he grabbed Winona’s hand and led her to the elevator. Several people stared at them as they walked. Who doesn’t recognize their faces these days? Everyone knew about the horrendous scandal. One of the reasons Richard took Winona out in public was to show the public that they were really married and happy. At least that would put a damper on the gossip about him and Gina Jade.

“Richard, could you slow down a bit?” Winona asked, trying to keep up with Richard’s quick strides. Winona had to half-run as they got off the elevator and headed into the lobby.

“No way,” Richard replied coldly.
