Chapter 12. Why Are You Angry?

At 10 PM, Selena woke up from her sleep. After having dinner, she went back to sleep. It was the first time she just eat and sleep without doing anything else.

"Why am I being so lazy?!" Selena said while sitting on her bed.

She looked around and realized it was dark. Selena quickly got up and walked to the bathroom. After a short while, she emerged wearing her nightclothes.

She headed to the kitchen, feeling better now. The pain in her lower body had subsided.

She greeted the guards who were watching the large house and stopped in the kitchen. She saw a maid washing a lot of dishes.

"Can I help you?" Selena asked politely with a smile.

"No, Miss. Are you awake? Are you hungry? If so, I'll prepare food quickly."

"No, I'm not hungry. Can I still help you guys?" Selena asked again.

"No, Miss. You are not allowed to help us; it's our duty. You can just sit in the living room."
