Chapter 41. CPR
I haven’t felt like myself since last weekend.
I’ve been finding it very strange to get through a day, and I don’t know what to do to feel better.
I’ve been forcing myself to do my schoolwork, but that’s not helping me anymore. I have to present my first honor’s thesis at school on Monday, and I’m really worried that I won’t do as well as I usually do.
Since more than two weeks ago, I’ve been getting ready. After all, it’s my research, and I want to do a good job with it. I want my presentation and thesis to be accepted by my review board, but I haven’t been getting enough sleep. My body has hurt since Saturday night, and my mind feels like it’s on fire.
No one will ever tell you how much doing CPR for a long time wears on your body. This was hard on my body on top of all the swimming I do. After the weekend, my legs hurt, and it was hard for me to walk down the stairs to our apartment door every day.
