Chapter 70. Wanted to Work

I turn the show back on and squeeze my dino, which has become my new favorite thing. One of my favorite things about the show was how the story took an unexpected turn. The next scene shows a dead girl lying on a mattress, and Nash’s eyes are raised.

"Are you sure that you want to watch this?" He asks. "It looks like bad news."

"I’d like to see it." I shake my head and insist. "Trust me, this episode is very interesting."

The plot moves forward, and the twist at the end keeps me interested. This woman paid a hitman to kill the woman her cheating husband was seeing. The twist in the story is that she is in a wheelchair and pretends to be sick and crippled so that her husband will still stay with her.

"So she did it?" He asks, and I nod and smile a little bit. "Holy crap, that’s crazy."

"Hold on, this is the weirdest part." I’m quiet.
