Chapter 68. Messages
When I get home, I don’t know what to do. I’ve been missing a lot lately, like parties and nights out with friends. I didn’t want to have to go back and tell them I’d done something stupid.
I sniffle and open the door. Nash is right there by the table in the dining room. He looks guilty, which makes sense since he told me the bad news.
"Hey!" I whisper, and he looks down at the floor and nods. We had talked about how we should stay away from each other a few days before. I felt really cheated, and thank God I’d never slept with Zeus.
"C’mere." He says it quietly and nods his head. I agree and walk quietly toward him until I can wrap my arms around him. He squeezes me so hard that I start to cry. I was able to hold it together all the way home, but when I saw Nash, I lost it.
