Darco frowned a bit, and he stared at me for a few seconds before running his hand through his maroon hair. “The case that you want to start against your pack?” 

I nodded. “Yes.” 

“And do you think it will actually work? You’re an omega going up against the pack, Rue.” 

“And I’m not alone. Alpha Zach, Vanessa, Mark, and some of the public will be on my side.” 

“Zach might get his title stripped away from him any day now. And as for your other friends, they are below rank when compared to the elders or Storm. Do you even think that you will find that footage of what that guy did to you?” 

“I—” I wanted to say something but he cut me off. 

“Rue, do you think that evidence like that would just be out in the open to find? Don’t you think that Storm and the elders already destroyed it?”
