Chapter 266. The Shower Area
This had been maybe the third day since I had a shower, and I felt so dirty. But I still did not want to use the general bathroom. I just didn’t.
Anyway, something felt different about the day. It was not just the air—thick and heavy with unspoken tension May had mentioned. This was something else.
It was like a sense of urgency that tugged at my chest like a hook. Today was also the second day of my three-day window, and I could not afford to waste a single second.
“You know that you need to shower, right? If you can’t even take one in here, how are you going to build a case against the Elders and Storm; taking them on?” The voice echoed in my head, it was my wolf.
I leaned against the wall, pulling my knees up to my chest as I mentally groaned.
