Chapter 267. Shower Fight

I focused on rinsing off, trying to ignore the prickling sensation crawling up my spine. The water trickled down, carrying away days of dirt, but it did nothing to take away the unease growing in my chest. 

I felt like I could get stabbed at any second and I could not help but look around every few seconds. I just wanted to be safe. 

Suddenly, a loud clang echoed through the shower room. My head snapped up, my heart skipped a beat. I saw two women near the far end of the room exchanging heated words. Their voices grew louder, and the tension in the room thickened. 

“Mind your own f*cking business, or you will regret it,” One of them hissed, her tone very dangerous. 

The other, a smaller but no less intimidating one, stood her ground. “You don’t scare me. Not here, not anywhere.”
