Chapter 285. Shot

As I descended into the elevator, my heart felt like it was being squeezed. Every passing second made me question whether I should even ask for Storm—or if doing so would be wrong. 

What if Storm was just playing me so that I could trust me? What if I took the thumb drive to him and he destroyed it and did soemthign to me? I knew that there were other copies, but who knew that too? 

Right, nobody. So if I was to be killed by the guy, no one would find it except maybe years later by some mistake. I did not want that. But at the same time, I did not know who to trust.
