Chapter 71. My Fate
A headache clung to my head and my mouth felt very dry. I was now just staring out the window, waiting for one of my worst fears to happen. Then I noticed something that caused me to sit up upright.
We were going the wrong way. I knew this because this route was familiar. “Excuse me, but I think you’re going the wrong way.”
The drier kept quiet for a few seconds but just as I was about to speak, he replied, “No, I’m not.” His voice was respectful yet had a coldness that sent a shiver down my spine.
“No, I’m being serious. This is the route that leads to Mother Theresa’s orphanage, I know it very well.” My heart was now thundering even harder and nervousness and fear filled me.
“I’m aware. It’s where I was told to take you.”
“Who told you that?” I started
