Chapter 97. Welcome Back

Ignoring the frozen room, she disentangled herself from the women with a careless gesture, leaving them breathless and whimpering on the steps.

Zayne didn’t speak to her. He simply lifted his hand, fingers flicking dismissively from the wrist. It was a small, almost lazy gesture, but it was a command.

The spell broke. The room exhaled. Everyone sat back down, conversations resumed, and the entertainment continued as the strippers danced.

Venom started descending the stairs. She snapped her fingers at the other strippers watching from afar. “The boss needs a proper welcome.” She pointed unsteadily towards the private, exclusive room meant for Zayne at the far end of the hall. “Girls, get to work.”

Zayne was already there, seated at his exclusive spot behind the transparent glass wall. He watched Venom approach with an unimpressed expression.

Venom pushed the door to the private lounge open and stumbled in.
