I didn't have a phone. The phone Dean gave me was left at his house. I never paid much attention to it since I had no one to call. But I wondered why Dean didn't come to see me. Five days had passed since Jake rescued me from Dean's house, and I hadn't heard anything from him since. He didn't even call, but that was because I didn't have a phone. Jake bought me one, but Dean didn't have my number to call me.

He used to come to the house to check on me, making sure I was okay, but it was strange that he didn't anymore. Maybe Dean was angry with Jake and me. Perhaps he was upset with me for leaving his house after he helped me get out of the hospital. But I couldn't forget that he was the one who put me there in the first place. Dean had no right to be angry because no one harmed him. He was the one attacking people from behind all the time. And he was the one getting offended? It didn't make sense.
