Chapter 33
Isla didn't know why it bothered her to watch Isabella and Leo kiss. It wasn't like she cared about him. More than anything, she wanted to see him perish and nothing more. She cleared her throat, causing Isabella to pull away from him.
"I guess I should leave you both alone now," she said. "We'll catch up during breakfast."
"Alright," Leo said.
She walked away from them without turning back to see if they were gazing at her. The thought of them in bed filled her head. Isabella's naked body clutched against Leo's slightly brawny frame. She brushed the thought off, and took the path to her mother's room. If she wanted a man in her bed, she could easily get one for herself. There was nothing special about Leo, she told herself.
As soon as Isla reached her mother's room door, she knocked. Even though her mother spent the nights with Lorenzo, she had a separate room.
