Chapter 30. Anna’s Mother
“Sir,” Lucien heard the voice greet him from over the phone.
“Start speaking.” He put on his suit jacket as he made his way out of his house.
“I watched all the footage and...” Lucien paused in his steps to listen, but he only heard the man clicking on his laptop through the phone. He sighed and got into the car, being held open by one of his drivers.
“Talk. I don’t have all day.”
“The people who took her are not from this city... that’s why it’s been so hard to find out who they work for. I ran info on the face in the footage—his name is Ronald Carter, but he goes by Rhino...”
