Lucien’s story didn’t start like most.

His mother had been pregnant with him when she married into the Blackwell family. It was a marriage arranged to protect powerful interests, not born of love. Her heart had belonged to Vercetti, Lucien’s father, but she lied, claiming the baby she carried was her new husband’s.

The Blackwells were obsessed with bloodlines so when they discovered the truth, they tried erased Lucien from existence. They stripped him of their name and branded him a stain they had to wipe clean.
