Chapter 31. Seduction

Later that night.

Lucien returned to his place. He walked into his room and took off his shirt before reaching for the bottle of whiskey he left on his mini work desk by the corner of his room.

He was pouring some of the whiskey into his glass when he noticed something was off. He set the bottle next to his tumbler and went to turn on the light.

Gennie was lying on his bed in a black, transparent linen lingerie. She stretched out on the bed when he turned on the light.

“What are you doing here?” he asked her, but she ignored his question. She got out of his bed and meandered toward him with poised, languid steps, her hips swaying like they always did.
