Chapter 10. The Offer

When I came back to the hospital that night, I remembered that Nana had already been taken to the OR, and Dahlia woke up as she felt them moving her. Good thing Lexie is with Dahlia, and I just saw them sitting in the waiting room.

Nana survived the surgery.

Although they were inside the OR for almost nine hours since they also needed to observe her for two hours, Nana also spent two days in the ICU before they moved her to a normal room.

I felt a big relief the moment she woke up.

The whole three days of her sleeping felt like forever as I waited for her to wake up and recover. When that day happened, that's when I let my emotions out. I cried and even bawled my eyes out when I saw her slowly opening her eyes.

She's now recovering in the hospital, and I didn't even get out once. Lexie was managing the business very well, and at night, she would visit us together with her girlfriend. They are a big help to me.
