Chapter 36. Cadence

"For a lifetime."

That's what I told her. We have a whole lifetime to explore the world together. We go on dates, we fight over little things, we forgive each other, and we do more things that are usually done by a couple.

We've been counting months today, but later on, we're going to have years and even decades of being together. That's my promise to her, while loving and choosing her every day is my promise to myself.

But I know not all love stories are meant to end happily ever after in a snap. There will always be conflict.
