Chapter 39. Who's Breaking?

"Do I need to tell you every detail of my life from now on?" She rudely asked before she turned away from me.

I smirked and crossed my arms as I leaned on the car trunk. I watched her walk away from me until she got out of the cemetery gate. She's right; what is it to me that she's here too? It's not like I'm bothered by her presence.

I rolled my eyes before I moved to get inside Lexie's car. She's already in the driver's seat when I get in.

"That's Cadence back there, right?" Lexie curiously asked.

I nodded.

"Did you say harsh things again?" She seriously asked this time as she started the engine of her car.

"I didn't say anything; I just asked her what she's doing in here," I said nonchalantly before I rested my head and closed my eyes.
