I would like to think that all of this was just a dream.
I don't want her to say that. I'm not ready to fall in love again, especially with her. I don't want to get scared again. I'm still picking myself up day by day, and yet she's here again, saying that she wants to get back together.

Lexie went silent now before Key asked her to get up, and they eventually excused themselves to give us some privacy.
"Do you mean it?" I asked her as soon as they went away.
"I meant every word I spoke," she said, but I scoffed in disbelief.
"Liar," I mouthed softly. "I don't trust your words anymore. One day, you'll say something, and then the very next day, you'll end up doing the opposite."
"I'm still in the middle of something, but..."
