Chapter 49. Feelings and Evidences
I walked out of that scene even though a lot of reporters were waiting for me and asking me what I could say about it.
What should I say about it when, in the first place, I have no idea what they are talking about? I only have a short time with my parents, and I wouldn't even have the right to say something about them, as they're not so close to me, even before they left me. They're just busy doing something and overworking themselves. That's why I ended up having my grandmother by my side.
In all those years, I've understood everything, and when they abandoned me all of a sudden, I had to accept it because that's the only choice they gave me.
Lexie chased after me, and it was a good thing that the taxi she booked was already waiting for us outside. When we got inside, Lexie held my hand, which's been clenching into a fist the whole time. I'm not even aware of it.
"I need to go to my daughter."
