Chapter 23

Ajdin smiles because he put sleeping pills in Melisa's coffee without her knowing. He wants Melisa to fall asleep because he will go out again and doesn't wish to take her with him to where he is traveling. Because he will meet the private investigator he hired to investigate who is that man that observed Melisa last time. He would like to know the truth behind all the lies about Melisa's adoptive family. He also wants to find out if Melisa is innocent and not their accomplice. And he knows that knowing who that man is will lead him to the truth.

He doesn't want Melisa with him. However, he wants to make sure she can't get away from him tonight to go home to her adoptive family. He doesn't trust her anymore. He will not allow Melisa to go home to her adoptive family's house until their wedding day.
